A safe, comfortable residential and respite care home on the West Shore in Llandudno, moments from the beach.
Brigadoon Care Home sits on the West Shore in Llandudno, a quiet, sweeping stretch of coast just moments from the beach.
It's a wonderful spot for our residents: sea air and level seafront walks, the Great Orme rising behind us, and the West Shore miniature railway running along the prom in season. The town's shops, cafés and promenade are all close by.
We offer residential and respite care for older people. Whether someone is settling in for the long term or staying for a short break, our focus is the same: warm, attentive support shaped around the person.
We would like every resident to truly think of Brigadoon Care Home as their home: to feel safe, comfortable and respected, with their choices and dignity at the heart of everything we do.

We support residents through change, physical and emotional, while keeping their independence and identity at the centre of everything we do.
Our residents are supported to maintain as independent a life as they physically and emotionally can. We adapt our service around them, never the other way round.
Short-term and convalescent stays with exactly the same warm, person-centred support our long-stay residents receive, whether for a planned break, recovery after time in hospital, or simply to get to know us first.
Helpful aids and adaptations around the home to keep residents comfortable, safe and mobile, with friendly help always close at hand.

Our activities team plans a regular programme of things to look forward to: a baking club, themed activity days, trips out to the local shops, gentle exercise, and quizzes and games. There's always something going on, and never any pressure to join in.
A hairdresser visits regularly, and we arrange visiting GP, dentist and optician appointments so everyday care is easy to keep up with. Residents are welcome to relax in the lounge or conservatory, potter in the gardens, or simply enjoy the sea air. The West Shore beach is only a short walk away.
